The Crichel Hoard: Window to Ancient Civilization

Dating back to 1400–1150 BCE, this extraordinary find includes:

  • A twisted gold ribbon torc bracelet
  • A fragmented gold strip from larger jewelry
  • A spiraled gold bracelet weighing 46 grams

"These artifacts are exceptionally rare in this region," explains Jon Marrow of Dorset Museum. "They offer crucial insights into early goldworking techniques and mysterious burial rituals we're still trying to decipher."
